Meet CP Natural Design- Christina Poruczynski - fine artist

I have degrees in Fine Arts Education from New Jersey City University as well as a Master’s degree from Kean University in Educational Administration. I also studied computer design and animation at Pratt Manhattan and taught at AP college level at the Secondary education level. Having taught in varying levels, I specialized in oil painting, Drawing and Design, Portfolio development, ceramic art and printmaking. Upon my recent retirement I spend much of my time working as a freelance artist in my own art  studio in Erwinna, PA.

My work is influenced by my surroundings as well as cultures and art styles I have experienced. I am particularly drawn to bright colors and bold patterns, which are often reflected in my pieces.

I thoroughly enjoy being out in the natural world as is evident in much of my art . The freedom this form of expression gives is probably the reason I continue creating. 

I am a firm believer in the power of experimentation and play in the artistic process. I often incorporate unconventional materials and techniques into my work, which allows me to explore new ideas and push the boundaries of my craft.

I enjoy multiple mediums and have a fully equipped studio with many work stations to afford me the opportunity to explore and develop my art and material skills.  

My small business and memberships in area art centers, shows, exhibitions and studios continues to grow and provides much needed resources and support. I find self accomplishment in creating as well as sharing myself with those who I consider my friends and colleagues.
